1. Discussion – CAR -4-12 Tax Cap
Decision Required: Whether to move to introduction.
The Town Attorney was directed to draft a Charter Amendment to address changing the tax cap portion of the Town Code. The Mayor and Council will have an opportunity to review and amend, if desired, prior to introduction in December.
2. Fourth Ward Traffic Configuration
Decision Required: What position to change the current pattern.
CM Thorpe has requested that this item be placed on the agenda. The Mayor and Town Council approved the current pattern.
3. Discussion Refuse Truck Purchase
Decision Required: Whether to authorize staff.
Previously, the staff provided a memorandum noting the difficulties with CNG and Hybrid refuse trucks and are recommending a diesel vehicle purchase. The issue is whether to proceed with a bid now, with interest rates being favorable, and making the purchase a lease purchase over time.
4. Discussion – Zone Parking
Decision Required: Whether to draft an amending Ordinance.
Attached is a memorandum describing the current zones with recommendations for zone parking amendments.
5. Final Preparations – Holiday Tree Lighting
Decision Required: None.
This matter was discussed at the last Worksession and will include updates regarding activities.
6. FY12 Audit Report
Decision Required: None.
The Mayor and Council have received the audit in advance. The Town Administrator will address any questions.
